Annual Reports

As required by Sections 706, 411, and 529 of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (Public Law 95-87). The Annual Report describes the operations of the Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement.

This report has been submitted to the President and Congress each year since 1978. Beginning in 1994 the financial reporting requirements of the Chief Financial Officers Act of 1990 were also included in the Annual Reports.
