	MEASURE	S	MEASURE	The name of the English unit of measure.
	MMEASURE	S	MMEASURE	The name of the Metric init of measure.
	NAME	S	Problem Type Description	The name assigned to the Priority/Problem Type combination.
	PRIOPROB	S	PRIOPROB	The table key field made up of Priority and Problem Type codes.
	PROB_TY_CD	S	Prob. Type	The problem field alone.
	PROG_PRI	S	Priority	The Priority field alone.
PROBLEMS.DBF
	AMLIS KEY	S	AMLIS_KEY	The AMLIS_KEY field is the link field to the Probarea table. The full key for the table adds the Priority and Problem type fields. This combination is also available to the system as a calculated field called ProblemKey.
	ATTACH	M	ATTACH	This field is currently unused. It is intended to be used when we allow attachments to be associated with a specific PROBLEM rather than with the entire PAD as is now the case.
	COMP COSTS	F	Completed Costs	The dollar cost for completed problems.
	COMP GPRA	F	Completed GPRA Acres	The GPRA (acre) unit value for completed problems.
	COMP METR	F	Completed Metric Units	The Metric unit value for completed problems.
	COMP UNITS	F	Completed English Units	The English unit value for completed problems.
	FUND COSTS	F	Funded Costs	The dollar costs for funded problems.
	FUND GPRA	F	Funded GPRA Acres	The GPRA (acre) value for funded problems.
	FUND METR	F	Funded Metric Units	The Metric unit value for funded problems.
	FUND UNITS	F	Funded English Units	The English unit value for funded problems.
	LATITUDE	F	Latitude	The latitude of this problem as a floating point number. Initially, all problems in a PAD will have the latitude of the PAD itself but in the future, each problem can have it’s own coordinates.
	LONGITUDE	F	Longitude	The longitude of this problem as a floating point number. Initially, all problems in a PAD will have the longitude of the PAD itself but in the future, each problem can have it’s own coordinates.
	PRIOPROB	S	Priority and Problem Type	The PRIORITY plus PROB_TY_CD fields.
	PRIORITY	S	Problem Priority	The priority of this problem. Priorities range from 1 thru 5 plus one additional type for research. There is also a pseudo “f” priority for projects authorized under 411(f) of SMCRA.
	PROB TY CD	S	Problem Type Code	The problem type code identifies the exact nature of the problem at the site. Not all problem types are available for all priorities. The table PRIOPROB defines this relationship. Each problem type defined a particular unit of measure and these units are defined in table XXX.
	UNFD COSTS	F	Unfunded Costs	The dolar costs for unfounded problems.
	UNFD GPRA	F	Unfunded GPRA Acres	The GPRA (acre) unit value for unfounded problems.
	UNFD METR	F	Unfunded Metric Units	The Metric unit value for unfounded problems.
	UNFD UNITS	F	Unfounded Standard Units	The English unit value for unfunded problems.

	AMLIS STAT	S	Report Parameters	This code currently has only two values. Either the field is empty, meaning the PAD is active, or PN, indicating that the entire PAD is in a suspense state and should not be included in any queries.
	AMLISKEY	S	AMLIS Key	This is the primary key for the PAD and is the combination of the State or Tribe code, the PA_NUMBER, the PROGRAM and PROGSFX fields.
	CO LAT DEG	N	Lat. Degrees	This set of six fields contains the degrees, minutes and seconds of both the longitude and latitude of the site. There are two additional fields called LONGITUDE and LATITUDE which carry the same information but as floating point number representing the degrees. ie: 25:30:00 would be 25.5. Also, the longitude is carried as a positive number but actually represents a position WEST of the meridian and therefore must be treated as negative for mapping purposes.

	CO LAT SEC	N	Lat. Seconds	Latitude seconds.
	CO LON MIN	N	Lon. Minutes	Longitude minutes.

	CO LONG DEG	N	Lon. Degrees	Longitude degrees.
	CONG DIST	N	Congressional District	The Congressional District code is set whenever a change is made to the county name or FIPS code fields, both of which are views into the FIPS code table. When either field changes, the FIPS table is scanned to construct a list of all Congressional Fields which fall within the county.
	COUNTY	S	County Name	The name of the county in which the Problem Area is located,
	FIPSCODE	S	FIPS Code	This field contains the Federal Information Processing System (FIPS) code for the county. The county lookup uses the FIPS reference table to present the available counties when a selection is made, sets the FIPS code value and builds a list of the associated Congressional Districts as well.
	IMAGENAMES	M	IMAGENAMES	This memo field contains a list of all attachments that have been applied to the PAD. This is a single line description of the attachment. A parallel memo, IMGPATHS contains the full path and filename of the attachment.
	IMAGEPATHS	M	IMAGEPATHS	The path and filename list associated with the IMAGENAMES list.
	LAST REV	D	Date of last revision	The date of the last revision to the PAD. Any change, except additional comments, updates this date.
	ORETYPES	S	ORETYPES	This field contains the codes for the ore types mined at the site. The values are both coded and positional, that is, the code for gold is G but it also appears in a specific location in the code list so program logic can use whichever method is most appropriate for the task.
	OWNER BL	N	Ownership (BLM %)	The percentage of BLM ownership.
	OWNER IN	N	Ownership (Indian %)	The percentage of Indian Lands ownership.
	OWNER NA	N	Ownership (Natl. Pk. %)	The percentage of National Park ownership.
	OWNER OF	N	Ownership (Other Fed. %)	The percentage of Other Federal ownership.
	OWNER OFS	N	Ownership (Forest Svc. %)	The percentage of U.S. Forest Service ownership.
	OWNER PV	N	Ownership (Private %)	This next series of seven fields contain the surface ownership percentages. Program logic insures that either all values will be zero or the total of the seven will be exactly 100. This field represents the percentage of Private Ownership.
	OWNER ST	N	Ownership (State %)	The percentage of State Ownership.
	PA NAME	S	Problem Area Name	The Problem Area field contains the official name of the Problem Area. All PADs for this Problem Area share a common name.
	PA NUMBER	S	PA Number	The Problem Area Number is the numeric identifier of the Problem Area. There can be many PADs in a given Problem Area and all share a common number. Most States simply use a sequential numbering scheme but others reserve blocks of numbers for various areas or types of problems.
	PADCOMMENT	M	Cumulative Comments	This memo field contains the cumulative history for the PAD. Each entry in the history is date/time stamped and contains the user ID of the person making the entry. Some entries also contain a short system generated phrase indicating what process was responsible for making the entry.
	PAPOLY			Not used.
	PREP BY	S	Prepared by	The name of the person who prepared the AML-76 form from which the PAD information was entered. The system defaults to the contact for the state but should be overwritten at entry.
	PREP DATE	D	Date Prepared	This field represents the date the Form-76 was prepared but will more likely be the date the form was entered. This uncertainty makes the field less than useful.
	PREPHONE	S	Preparer Phone	The phone number of the individual that prepared the OSM Form-76 from which the PAD information was entered.
	PROGRAM	S	Program Code	The Program field contains the two-character designation for the funding source. For example, State Grant funding is SG. The full program code contains one more character (PROGSFX) to designate the sub type.
	PROGRAM3	S	Program and Group	This field contains the full program code which is the PROGRAM and PROGSFX fields together. Again, this is basically for query purposes since SQL isn’t good at concatenating fields.
	PROGSFX	S	Program Group	The Program Suffix field is the 3^rd character of the full 3-character program code. It is isolated as a separate field for query purposes.
	PU NAME	S	Planning Unit Name	The Planning Unit Name is the official name given to the planning unit. The name is assigned and maintained, with the planning unit number, by the states and tribes.
