	OSM AWARDS VIRGINIA $1,500,000.00 AML GRANT TO ASSIST
	IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING

The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and 
Enforcement (OSM) has awarded Virginia a $1,500,000.00 grant to assist in the 
administration and enforcement of the State's surface coal mining program.
The grant will assist the state in regulating federal and non-federal lands.
