OSM FACT SHEET U.S. Department of the Interior Office of Surface Mining February 13, 1997 OSM AWARDS NAVAJO TRIBE $3,959,930 GRANT TO FUND ABANDONED MINE LANDS PROGRAM The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and Enforcement (OSM) has awarded the Navajo Indian Tribe a $3,959,930 grant to fund the abandoned mine land (AML) reclamation program on tribal lands in Arizona and New Mexico.
