	OSM AWARDS UTAH $1,564,267 TO ASSIST
	IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING
The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and 
Enforcement (OSM) is providing Utah an additional $1,564,267 grant to 
help the state regulate the surface effects of coal mining.
The grant assists in paying half of Utah=s inspection and enforcement 
costs, including equipment, supplies and transportation.
