	OSM AWARDS MISSOURI $505,153 TO ASSIST

	IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING

The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and 
Enforcement (OSM) is providing Missouri $505,153 to assist the state in 
regulating the surface effects of coal mining.
The grant will assist in paying Montana's inspection and enforcement 
costs including equipment, supplies, and transportation.
