OSM AWARDS MISSOURI $436.015 TO ASSIST
IN REGULATING SURFACE EFFECTS OF COAL MINING                  
                                    
The Interior Department s Office of Surface Mining Reclamation
and Enforcement (OSM) is providing Missouri $436,015 to assist the
state in regulating the surface effects of coal mining.

The grant will assist in paying Missouri s inspection and
enforcement costs including equipment, supplies, and transportation.
