OSM AWARDS TENNESSEE $170,000
FOR ABANDONED MINE LANDS PROJECT

    The Interior Department's Office of Surface Mining Reclamation and
Enforcement (OSM) has awarded Tennessee a federal reclamation cooperative
agreement grant for $170,000 to provide funding for the Farmer Hill abandoned
mine lands reclamation project.

    The $170,000 grant will fund construction of extensive sedimentation
control structures at the site.
